ASIA LAMPE PORTFOLIO

As previously stated my name is Asia Lampe. I am a 21-year-old senior from Charlotte, North Carolina studying communications and media studies. I currently have a 3.9 GPA. I am a part of the track and field program as a thrower. I am a part of the student-athlete advisory committee better known as SAAC. I have been around sports my entire life so I know what it means to be a team player, hardworking, and most importantly dependable. Being that I have been doing sports for the majority of my life I don't plan to leave the sports realm even after I am done competing.

My career goal is to work as a sports reporter or sports broadcaster for a major sports team. I plan to interview athletes, talk sports, and be involved as a whole. I would also work in the social media department of sports as well. After having my internship with Adobe, I enjoyed working for the social brand team so I know I would have a blast working for a sports branding team.

I am currently a part of Ram Sports, which is a program at Winston-Salem State University that allows students to create a sports package. Students can record the sporting event, interview players/coaches, and edit the clips to create a video to be released on the Ram Life social media platforms for recognition. This program ensures you learn how to use a camera and edit the videos as well. I had the chance to sit in on every single football press conference for the 2023 season and create a video for the upcoming game from the press conference.

I have worked with Adobe INC's brand team during an internship which allowed me to learn many different aspects of social media branding. That internship also allowed me to connect with new faces and broaden my skills in marketing.
